This Tamiya FOX 1/10 RC car is the vintage model from 1985, still in its original packaging and unassembled.
The FOX kit was one of the most amazing kits Tamiya produced back in the day and is absolutely iconic of the 80's RC period. Don't miss your chance to grab this one for display in a collection or to relive the feeling of building an original. A great addition to that middle Tamiya first 100 collection range.
As a collector myself I would put the box at a 4-5/10. No major damage just a bit more wear and aging color than I prefer for a display piece. All collectors are different and to some box wear is trivial. I tried to show the edges that have wear on them in the pictures so everything is upfront. I took the pictures on a white background so that the coloration of the box would be obvious to a buyer. If vintage box color isn't a concern for you than this is an amazing kit.
The contents are in perfect condition with all blister packs perfectly sealed up. Body is clean and graphics are perfect. The parts box is still sealed and never opened (tape still on as shown in the pictures). The body is still stapled to the original Tamiya cardboard stock base with the decals sealed inside.
Not that it adds a ton of value but in my opinion it increases the "coolness" factor a bit that the manual has the distinction of being signed by Mr. Tamiya. There are a few of these floating around out there which makes it kind of neat over a kit that doesn't have it.
This kit is unassembled and requires a compatible radio and battery if you intend t build and run it. Radio and battery not included.
